Games Achive My Education Success
Our project has started as a means of helping early school leaving students and overcome barriers. The involved schools carried out the survey and the results show the problems and the challenges we have been facing. The aim of this project is to decrease the rate of the early school leaving for the target group 11-15 year-olds. Eurostat statistics on ESL have shown that more than six million young Europeans (age 18-24) left school in 2009 with only lower secondary education or less. Although this number has dropped to five and a half million people in 2012, the issue of ESL is still worrying considering its severe consequences to individuals and society. Early school leaving involve the risk of unemployment and less participation in democratic processes. It deprives young people of the possibility to engage in lifelong learning and puts them at risk of exclusion from society. Early school leaving  is European countries' common problem. There is an important target on educational attainment which tackles the problem of early school leavers by reducing the dropout rate to 10% from the current 15%  in the European Strategy 2020. For this reason, we want to develop new methods together and share our experiences about tackling early school leaving.Early school leaving is connected to the risk of unemployment and less participation in democratic processes. It deprives young people of the possibility to engage in lifelong learning and puts them at risk of exclusion from society. We want to contribute to solve this problem. Our target group are pupils aged 11-15.

Our main goal is to provide an innovative teaching methods which address all of our pupils and to find the ways to achieve this objective and find ways to integrate all of our pupils in the same category despite their disadvantaged social and family background.Furthermore, new innovating teaching methods, programming skills and ICT tools are essential to provide equal chances for all students.According to Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the European Commission-Survey of Schools: ICT in Education, ”The digital world is not just about machines and microchips: it's about giving people the tools to make their lives better, achieve their dreams and maximise their opportunities. Soon 90% of jobs could require digital skills: yet not enough Europeans are getting them. I welcome this study: because we can change this trend from the classroom. If teachers are themselves more confident using ICT, they can better inspire the next generation.” What is more, "European Schoolnet Observatory" claims that students collaborating in pairs or groups, using ICT tools and programming apps achieve better effects and are more motivated.

We will use new and clever teaching methods and we will teach them how to make good and safe use of it. In addition, we will apply flipped classroom techniques to make education more interesting for the students and check what they achieve during the project. Using ICT during lessons has a positive impact on these students’ understanding, concentration, collaboration and achievement. In addition, we all agree that ICT use in teaching and learning influence on higher order thinking skills such as critical thinking, analysis, problem solving.

As all schools have students that need to be supported, the new kits and tools will help the students to improve their knowledge in all subjects for example: written and spoken English by creating: comics, picture stories, short films, audio sequences, the European Language Portfolio, and using the eTwinning platform for communication but also check their competences through Europass. On the other hand, with the help of "Hour of Code" and simple programming tools, students will develop analytical and logical thinking, they will be also taught how to solve difficult problems. Building up these abilities is necessary in maths and science but also it simplifies functioning in the society nowadays. It also helps extending Key Competences. Technology and digital tools will help overcome their difficulties in some school subjects and the frustration they often experience because of their lack of knowledge and thus make them more interested in the subjects and more motivated to learn more.

There was a time in the city in a valley, between a river and some mountains where the inhabitants never grew old. The mystery was found inside a castle, located at the top of the highest mountain in the region.
Climbing this castle, after crossing a river by a white bridge of wood and stones, inside of the castle, there was a hermitage with walls of salt, with a monument to the miraculous Virgin.
The tradition says that all those who eat this salt on the day they are 15 years old, will never grow old, and the day they reach 100 years sold, they will go up to the castle and never come back.
That was the pact they signed centuries and centuries ago.

  5. -Poland A long time ago there was a forgotten town called Inowrocław and a wise king lived there. He had his castle and all the people from his kingdom could come and visit him. There was only one way to the castle and it led across the Real Bridge. In front of the castle there was a monument of a God. The statue was made of salt because the castle was located on a salty hill. The king was a good man and did his best for his people but he had one mystery. Every day he went to the monument and he talked to the God because he wanted to create a town with its own tradition but he didnn't know how to do it. One day the God spoke to him and said "Love, friendship and peace are the keys to your happiness." The king listened to the God and some time later he had the greatest kingdom ever.

    THE MYSTERY OF BALOONS
Once upon a time, two curious children, Leonor and Lourenço, who were descendants of a kingdom
called Arendelle, lived in a very remote place in the mountains full of snow. Both shared the same
curiosity. On the last few days, late in the afternoon, they always used to see colourful, mysterious, huge
fire balls above the mountains, which called their attention.
Leonor and Lourenço were cousins and they usually played together outside in the mountains and
they had never seen such a thing. The first time they saw the fire balls, they were both astonished and
frightened. They didn’t really know what to do. As every child does, they ran into the castle to hide
themselves and to ask for help. Firstly, they asked Leonor’s parents about that mysterious flying object,
but they didn’t get an answer Leonor’s parents thought they were imagining things as they used to do.
However, they were very curious and they really wanted to find out what was going on. Suddenly,
Lourenço had a great idea. They should visit the wizzard of the kingdom. He would certainly give them
the answer. Thus, the next day they met the wizzard started to laugh and he said that it was
unbelievable. Therefore, he told the children that evening they should go together to the top of a
mountain so that he could also enjo the fire balls. And he laughed…
And so they did. They went up the highest mountains and waited for long hours until the moment
they started to see the big orange balls coming towards them. The wizzard was speechless and looked at
    them very attentively.
The children wondered if the wizzard was going to solve this mystery. It was scary but at the same
time the night was bright and beautiful and they even thought they were stars in the sky.
As the fire balls were getting closer, the old man told them that they shoudn’t be scared because
they were nothing but hot balloons. The two kids now wished they could fly in one of them one day.

  9. SALT
In this text, I want to talk about salt. I
will speak about its benefits and its
dangers if it is consumed in excess. I
will also talk about the chemical part
    of salt.
Salt is a spice that is mostly used for cooking. The salt gives
“flavour” to the food. Many people think salt is harmful to
humans, but in fact salt is only harmful to the human being if it is
consumed in excess. One of the benefits of salt is that it helps to
lose weight. The salt creates digestive juices in the body, which
means that the meals consumed will be divided into faster
degrees. Excessive intake can lead to problems such as
hypertension, kidney problems, osteoporosis, and loss of taste,
autoimmune diseases, ageing and a high death rate. In this
moment, the Portuguese govern is trying to reduce the amount
of salt or sugar I n the aliments. Finally, in chemistry salt is called
sodium and its chemical formula is Na.

that castle there was a King, a Queen and
a Prince living there. The Prince wasn´t
happy. He didn´t like to be a Prince, because he wanted to be a normal person.
The prince didn´t have any friends because in the castle there lived only
a Queen, a King and the servants. Normally the Prince looked through the
window all day. From the window he could see children playing in the other

the other island to play with the children. His parents said no, because it was
dangerous. Time passed and the Prince felt sadder and sadder and alone.

Hot balloons are an amazing form of seeing the
views from some places that you want to visit. It
is a very interesting experience and now I am
going to tell my story. One day I went on
holidays, I was in Italy with my family so we decided to travel in a hot balloon. From the hot
balloon we could see the ocean and it was beautiful. It was a very sunny day so we saw
everything, the sky was blue and very clean, we saw the houses near the beach.
I have no words to describe the feeling of travelling in a hot balloon because it is like you are
totally free. Nevertheless, this beautiful mystery will always remain for those who don’t
    accept this challenge.

  12. CASTLE
In the eyes of everyone, this castle is normal, a
typical abandoned castle, but this isn’t true.
Catherine Cooper was a princess, but not a traditional princess. She
wanted to travel around the world and she didn’t want to be locked in a
castle forever. When she told her father, James ll, her plans, he laughed at
her and said that the next month she would marry Charles lV. Catherine
started to cry and ran away. She climbed up to the tallest tower of the
castle and screamed “If I can’t be free, it’s better to die”. Then she jumped
    and killed herself.
Some people say, that after her death, Catherine’s ghost fulfilled her
dream: to get to know the whole world.

  14. REAL BRIDGE

Once upon a time there was a bridge which
was used as a military strategy because it was
very unstable and could easily collapse. So
the generals used to make it collapse whenever the enemies tried to pass it. It worked
every time so they kept winning wars.
But one day the enemies decided to make a new bridge on their own so they could
cross it easily and that worked. The enemies were rich and they were so happy that
they decided to name that bridge as the real bridge.
A few weeks later one of the generals disguised as one of the enemies but he was
noticed a few months later. When they caught him they felt bad because of his
    constant shouts and cries.
From that day on they made a peace offer and they decided to destroy the collapsing
bridge. Both parts agreed to maintain the Real Bridge and signed a peace treaty.
